The Birth of Called By God Podcast

The Birth of Called By God Podcast

Adversity can come in many forms, and it can shake our faith to its core. Yet, it's during these trials that our faith can be strengthened, reshaped, and refined. In our latest podcast episode, we delve into how our experiences during the 2019-2020 global pandemic have reshaped our understanding of God's kingdom and our service to it.

We begin by reflecting on the origin of the Called by God Podcast. It was during this time that we realized the need for different conversations within the church, and how the pandemic offered an opportunity to create a platform for such dialogues. We discovered that the pandemic was more than a health crisis; it was a call to deeper connection with God and a shift in our spiritual perspective.

In this episode, the Host (Nicson) discusses the unexpected events of 2019, such as the loss of a loved one, a car accident, and daughter's high school graduation. His experiences allowed him to reflect on his actions in the service of the Lord and highlighted the importance of taking action and multiplying his gifts in the Kingdom of God. In addition, the Co-host (Adnie) discusses her experiences during 2020 such as how she was on the verge of launching a church version of Red Table Talk, the loss of her brother, and more. Her experiences had led her to utilize her gifts to bring God the glory (i.e., evolvement in several ministries).

Drawing strength from the Word of God, we explore the importance of staying encouraged in the face of difficult situations. We discuss how even in our darkest moments, we can draw strength from Jesus and trust in His promises.

Moreover, we dive into the profound impact of the Holy Spirit and the influence of Scripture on our lives. Through the podcast, we've been able to enhance our spiritual journey, recognize the imperfections of man, and emphasize the necessity of a Savior. We deeply appreciate God's mercy and grace and recognize the beauty of Jesus' sacrifice.

Finally, we discuss how the 'Called by God' podcast has been both a blessing and a challenge during the pandemic. It's a reminder of the power and responsibility we have as Christians. The podcast has encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones to make a difference and remember why we gave our lives to Christ.

In conclusion, our journey through adversity and a global pandemic has taught us valuable lessons about faith, resilience, and the power of unwavering trust in God. It has reshaped our understanding of God's kingdom and our role in it. We hope that our experiences and insights will inspire and strengthen your own faith journey.
