What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Arvelia “Elise” Chambers. Arvelia had a candid and transparent conversation with us today. 

• Life before Christianity 
  • Grew up in the church
  • Baptized at 13 or 14
  • Her father made certain she knew the responsibility of being a Christian
• Her grandmother was instrumental in her Christian journey
  • Arvelia’s grandmother was her rock on this journey  
  • She felt like she lost three people at once
  • Her grandmother was her god
• Her come to Jesus moment
  • During a sermon Arvelia realized she was living her grandmother and not God
  • She did not want to bring shame to her grandmother  
• Arvelia is a servant
  • Arvelia has a benevolent heart
  • She feels like she is a worker for the Lord
• Arvelia uses her platform to enrich and encourage others by helping them to walk out their purpose
