050. Transcending Disobedience

What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Ray Gosa. Ray took us on a phone both ride as he shared his journey to Christ.

• Grew up in the church 
  • Ray grew up in the body of Christ, his grandparent and parents grew up in the church
  • He recognized that his journey began with indoctrination 
  • He had a period where he was in the church, but not of the church
• Baptized in more than once
  • Ray was baptized at the age of nine the first time
  • He was then baptized at the age of 21 after a better undering of the word
  • Now in his 30s he is in a constant state of dying to himself
• Being raised in the body gives a foundation 
  • He had a sense of remission of sin whenever he indulged in sin 
  • Ray has been extremely aware of the Word of God 
  • He discovered the difference between indoctrination and what the Word actually says
• Transcending indoctrination and sitting at the feet of Jesus
  • Ray shares that Jesus is the only hero and role model that we all need
  • Ray also shares how we have to walk in the mind of Christ 
  • He told us that we have to become Jesus on this time side of life

• Believe: Hebrews 11:6
• Repent: Acts 17:30-31
• Confess: Matthew 10:32
• Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
• Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
