What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Lauren Fitzgerald. Lauren shares with us the uniqueness of her journey to Christ.

• Family dynamics and the Army
  • Her parents instilled a foundation of God 
  • She witnessed somethings in the home that caused her to doubt 
  • Her father grew up poor and her mom was a socialite
  • Her parents had to different perspective on rearing her and siblings
• Losing her voice as a child
  • She had a strict upbringing and did not have a voice  
  • She was not able to get perms or perm her hair because of her dads views
  • Her father dictated how and who she would become as a Christian young woman 
• 
  
  • Withdrawn due to home issues and found comfort in a black sweater 
  • Satan came to destroy her family 
  • She has always had a spirit of boldness
  • There were periods of isolation and a sense of defeat
  • The Lord always provided comfort through others in the church and in school
• Family issues and a broken home
  • Children deal with the issues that parents are dealing with
  • Parents separated when she was 7 years old 
  • We need to have a deep relationship with the Lord
  • Even when your children see you fall allow them to see you rise
• Marriage, divorce, pain, and purpose
  • Marriage is work and not something to enter into lightly
  • Pray, fasted, and did marriage counseling
  • When you forget us and focus I marriage is over
  • You must die to yourself in a marriage and he must do so as well

• Repent: Acts 17:30-31
• Confess: Matthew 10:32
• Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
• Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
