What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Tavarus Jock McRay. Jock eloquently shared the genesis of his call from God. He walked us through his life journey.

• Grew up in a single-parent household
  • Mom and dad were strong disciplinarians 
  • He was raised with the knowledge of the Lord
  • His mom always knew he had a powerful presence of the Lord
• Going to Worship/church and praising the Lord
  • He had a very powerful praise experience during worship
  • He is self-taught in the word
  • He loved reading and writing, he read a lot of Christian based book
  • He began writing poetry and rap music 
  • The enemy was after his mind because of his knowledge
• His Call in 2012 
  • He grew up in the Baptist church and had a foundation 
  • He was bullied in school and introverted as a child 
  • He was distracted by other children in and his mother had to discipline him
  • He strayed off as a young child and did not guard himself
  • He was placed in a mental health institution
  • He had one foot in the church and one in the world
• The ministry of Father figures
  • His influences were ministers in the church and Kirk Franklin
  • Jock took a bag his mother had and began to organize his life
  • He met a man who prophesied that no young woman could be with him unless she was a woman of God.
  • He had to surrender to the Lord willingly

• Repent: Acts 17:30-31
• Confess: Matthew 10:32
• Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
• Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
