  • Brothers Cain and Abel
    • Cain is the first child born to Adam and Eve after the fall
    • Abel is the second child born to them after the fall of man
    • Brothers with two different views of offering 
  • Abel’s Purpose
    • Abel tended sheep/goat; he was a shepherd 
    • Protector of the flock (type shadow of Christ)
    • His example shows true worship
  • Cain’s Purpose
    • Cain took on the family business and became a tiller of the ground
    • He was to cultivate the land for it to yield the best fruit
    • His example proves what we are not to do when we offer to GOD
    • He is the type shadow of the enemy  

 

The way to salvation:

  • Hear: Romans 10:17
  • Believe: Hebrews 11:6
  • Repent: Acts 17:30-31
  • Confess: Matthew 10:32
  • Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
  • Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
